Surprise baptism

We did a spontaneous baptism this morning. It wasn’t completely spontaneous: we had it planned since the summer. We just didn’t tell anybody. This morning I spoke on what it means to follow Christ, and then I invited people to respond by being baptized. I waited in the foyer. I had a few words planned in case nobody came; that happens. Two people (Eva and Bryan) soon joined me. We quickly got changed, and celebrated together. It was one of the best baptisms I have been a part of. I got the idea from James, and I like it.
