Houses are a lot of work

I mowed the lawn today for the first time this year. Our front lawn has never been in great condition, so a few years ago we tore it all up, installed a sprinkler system, and put new sod down. It looked beautiful for a short while before we had floods one and two, and it’s never been the same since. The city lay new sod after they dug up our lawn, but it wasn’t done well. Our sprinkler system was damaged at the same time, and by the time it got fixed it was too late. I think it’s time for new sod again. To do this year: rent a wood chipper and chip all the wood at the back of the property; lay a concrete base for a shed; buy and build a shed; paint the garage; lay new sod; renovate front hall closet. It’s going to be a busy summer.
