Holly’s Dollys

The family of Holly Jones, the ten-year old who was kidnapped and murdered this May in Toronto, is auctioning off 300 of the stuffed animals left outside their house in the days following the kidnapping. It’s all for a worthy cause:

Over the past few months since our lives changed forever, we have experienced a sense of warmth from the City of Toronto and from around the world. People from near and far have given us stuffed animals to show they feel our pain. In an effort to share Holly’s memory, we are auctioning off these wonderful items to raise money for the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. We fondly call these stuffed animals “Holly Dolly” because that is what we called Holly. Each stuffed animal has a tag attached to it with the message we have Holly everyday: I love you to each and every star, to the moon, around the sun, and back again.
