Iraq Body Count

The Iraq Body Count is a sober reminder of the high cost of war. But it’s not the complete story. I wish that the site made mention of the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians who have died under Saddam Hussein’s regime. It’s a great site, and reminds us that war is an obscenity, but in and of itself isn’t an argument against war.
