God is at Work in the Ordinary

John Frame writes:

It is important for us to recognize that God’s sovereign, controlling power appears, not only in spectacular displays like the miracles of Jesus, but also in events in which people perceive him as weak…Spectacular things are typically preparation for the ordinary things.
