Now that’s how to have a day off

In Toronto Life, they have this feature asking celebrities how they would spend a perfect day. Anything goes, so the limit is often well over $10,000. I didn’t have that good a day, but it was pretty nice. Admiring the fountain pens at Laywines in Yorkville, buying a couple of Stan Grenz books at Crux, enjoying a 90 minute massage at the Royal York, browsing for books at Nicholas Hoare, and shopping for dinner at St. Lawrence Market. Serena Ryder on the iPod. What’s not to like? It wasn’t a perfect day – Charlene was working, and wasn’t with me. But it was a pretty good day, and it didn’t cost me anywhere near $10,000.
