Now it can be told

Ed, a friend of mine for the past ten years and a co-worker for the past six, is leaving Richview to pastor a church in Port Colbourne. I’m excited for him. I think this is a great fit and I think God is in this. I’m also looking forward to having Ed as just my friend again. Before he came to Richview, it was easier to have a relationship outside a church context. When you work together, that tends to dominate the relationship. If you think of Ed and his family, pray for them as they make this move. We’re going to be sending them off with a potluck lunch (Baptist love language is food) on August 28. Update: Ed blogs the details.
