God in the hurricane

Charlene’s perspective on the past week:

He knew in advance that my “hurricane” was far greater than I had any knowledge of. Last night, as I held Christina’s thrashing, unconscious frame to ease her spasms for air, He carried me and left me with no doubt that we were safe within His arms. “You never know how much you really believe anything until its truth or falsehood becomes a matter of life and death to you.” (C.S. Lewis, A Grief Observed)

Thanks for all of your prayers. Home in just a few days now.
