Leadership Journal

My copy of Leadership Journal arrived yesterday, usually a happy moment. This time it wasn’t. This was the issue that could have contained an article I wrote on sermon plagiarism. It was called “Confessions of a Sermon Thief.” They hoped to run two articles on the subject, but in the end they just ran one, and mine got the cut. It was a good article, and I’m sure it will get published somewhere. I really was hoping it would make Leadership, though. It’s the first time I’ve held a magazine in my hands that almost held something I wrote, but doesn’t. Lord, teach me to have patience. Rejection – part of the process…
