The announcement of the box’s successful repair came amid increased confidence at the ROM that the artifact is not a forgery, and that the inscription refers to the brother of Jesus.

Not everyone is excited about the ossuary – for example, read AKMA’s Random Thoughts: Bogus Brother. This lack of excitement is probably part of a healthy move away from modernity’s fixation with ration and proof. Still, I love seeing things that connect me to the past. This ossuary thing, in my opinion, is still pretty cool.
