Visiting Church

I’m on holiday today. I love to visit other churches when I’m in holiday. I usually get good ideas, plus I love to be refreshed by what other churches are doing.

I decided to visit a local church, and got their service times from their website. Just to be sure, I phoned the number given on the website to make sure their service times hadn’t changed. Oops! The website gave the wrong number. It was midnight, and the lady who answered didn’t seem too happy. I finally found the right phone number, and the church answering machine confirmed the service times.

We showed up today a little early, only to find out that the service times had changed to an hour earlier. We weren’t the only ones driving in late. We turned around and ended up going to another church.

Bad information is worse than no information. Now I know why people tell me that looking for a new church isn’t a fun experience!
