The church is God's family, possession, and a pillar of truth, which means we must maintain good conduct, defend biblical teachings, and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Resisting temptation requires being realistic about its inevitability, taking personal responsibility, understanding its process, and relying on God’s strength to overcome it.
Elders in the church are responsible for leading, teaching, equipping, protecting, and modeling Christlike behavior, while meeting high personal, domestic, relational, and doctrinal qualifications, with authority entrusted to them but accountability to the congregation.
