The gospel humbles us, unites us, and teaches us the purpose of God’s law.

But now God has done for you what you could never do for yourself.

We need Christmas because we all stand guilty before God and can raise no objection, so we need a Savior.

Don’t trust in your religious accomplishments and advantages; trust in Christ alone.

God judges everyone impartially, and no one measures up, so salvation comes only through faith in Jesus.
