# How to Cope with Not Attending T4G 2012

My [Twitter](https://twitter.com/?ref=dashhouse.com#!/search/%23t4g) and RSS feeds are starting to fill with updates of people who are attending [T4G](http://t4g.org/?ref=dashhouse.com) this week. It’s easy to feel left out if you’re not attending. I’m here to help.

I honestly have a love/hate relationship with huge conferences like this. I love the music, workshops, great preaching, and the books. And I love meeting people I rarely see. But I find the crowds overwhelming, and it always feels like too much of a good thing by the time it’s done.

Here are some things that may help you as you don’t attend T4G this week:

- [Remind](https://twitter.com/T4GOnline/statuses/186875113344471041?ref=dashhouse.com) yourself that “New audio and video from T4G ’12 will be posted each day during the event” that you can watch comfortably from your living room at home.
- Every time you start thinking about the massive bookstore, remind yourself that you have an even [bigger one](http://www.amazon.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) at your fingertips.
- Pray for those attending. It’s hard to envy the people for whom you’re praying.

If you’re going to T4G, have a great time. If you’re not going, then join me in having a great time not attending to the glory of God.
