A week from today we’re hosting a seminar for Christian leaders in Toronto. Dave Kraft, author of the excellent book [*Leaders Who Last*](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1433513188/ref=as%5Fli%5Fss%5Ftl?ie=UTF8&tag=dashhouse-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399369&creativeASIN=1433513188&ref=dashhouse.com)

, is going to be speaking to us about what it takes to lead over the long haul. He’s going to cover three areas:

- a credible life
- a compelling vision
- a cohesive team

I’m really looking forward to having Dave around. In particular, I’m looking forward to learning as much as I can from him, both in the seminar and even in the car as I drive him around.

I’ve read *Leaders Who Last* a couple of times now. It’s one of the books that I read during my sabbatical last year as I reflected on changes I need to make in my life and ministry. I plan on reading it again in the coming week.
