# Pray for Sayed Mussa

The [New York Times](http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/06/world/asia/06mussa.html?ref=dashhouse.com) reports on Sayed Mussa, who is being held in Afghanistan about his conversion from Islam to Christianity:

> “The Taliban were saying, ‘He is an infidel, he is filthy and he needs to be killed,’ ” he recalled.

> Mr. Mussa has not seen his wife and six children in months, since they fled to Pakistan for their safety. He is not even sure if he has a lawyer; he signed agreements with two, then never saw them again.

There are [reports](http://thegospelcoalition.org/blogs/justintaylor/2011/02/19/pray-for-sayed-musa-afghan-christian-set-to-be-hanged-within-days/?ref=dashhouse.com) that he is facing execution within three days unless he renounces his faith.

I followed [Denny Burk’s advice](http://www.dennyburk.com/pray-for-said-musa/?ref=dashhouse.com) and tweeted this earlier today:
