# The Best Part About Blogging

I’m currently in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin right now. I’m attending a four-day preaching workshop with [Haddon Robinson](http://www.gordonconwell.edu/prospective%5Fstudents/haddon%5Fw%5Frobinson?ref=dashhouse.com) and [Craig Blomberg](http://www.denverseminary.edu/about-us/our-faculty/dr-craig-l-blomberg/?ref=dashhouse.com). We’re going through 1 Corinthians together. I try to get to this workshop every year. It’s always great to get together with other pastors and to work through a book of the Bible together.

No matter how good the sessions are, one of the highlights is the time that we get to spend talking during the meals. I just had lunch with [Chris Brauns](http://www.chrisbrauns.com/?ref=dashhouse.com), who is a [blogger](http://www.chrisbrauns.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) you should be reading. He’s also author of [*Unpacking Forgiveness*](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1581349807/dashhouse-20?ref=dashhouse.com), which is a book that I regularly recommend to others.

Chris is an example of someone I’ve come to know through blogging. The blogging has led to a much deeper relationship when we see each other in person. I’ve met a number of great people who have enriched my life through blogging. In some ways, blogging is a form of social networking that can lead to some very good in-person relationships with very good people.

The best part about blogging may be the in-person relationships that develop as a result.
