[Mark D. Roberts](http://www.markdroberts.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) has a good series reflecting on his experience attending [Redeemer Presbyterian Church](http://redeemer.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) in New York City. If you’ve never visited Redeemer or heard Tim Keller speak, this is a good series of posts to get a sense of what it’s like.

Keller, is one of the most respected pastors in the country as well. So I was eager to “check out” Redeemer. Why, I wondered, is this church thriving in the midst of New York City? . . . which is not exactly the Bible belt.
