I’ve really appreciated the perspective that sin is idolatry. [Tim Keller](http://www.monergism.com/postmodernidols.html?ref=dashhouse.com), among others, have really done a good job of explaining this. (Keller has [a book](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0525951369/dashhouse-20?ref=dashhouse.com) coming out later this year on the topic.)
