Fresh off the plane from Honduras, Charlene and I took advantage of [Winterlicious](http://www.toronto.ca/special%5Fevents/wintercity/winterlicious.htm?ref=dashhouse.com) and ate at [Canoe](http://www.oliverbonacini.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) yesterday. Canoe is one of Toronto’s top restaurants and not a place that we normally belong. The price was affordable with Winterlicious but the contrast from last week felt very strange.

I just got a phone call that I need to be at the [Granite Club](http://www.graniteclub.com/public/index.html?ref=dashhouse.com) for a noon meeting. The Granite Club is also a place I’m not accustomed to visiting.

This culture shock has to end now or I’m getting back on a plane.
