In [Toronto Life](http://www.torontolife.com/?ref=dashhouse.com), they have this feature asking celebrities how they would spend a perfect day. Anything goes, so the limit is often well over $10,000\. I didn’t have that good a day, but it was pretty nice. Admiring the fountain pens at [Laywines](http://www.laywines.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) in [Yorkville](http://bloor-yorkville.com/?ref=dashhouse.com), buying a couple of Stan Grenz books at [Crux](http://www.cruxbooks.com/?ref=dashhouse.com), enjoying a 90 minute massage at the [Royal York](http://www.fairmont.com/royalyork/?ref=dashhouse.com), browsing for books at [Nicholas Hoare](http://www.nicholashoare.com/?ref=dashhouse.com), and shopping for dinner at [St. Lawrence Market](http://www.stlawrencemarket.com/?ref=dashhouse.com). [Serena Ryder](http://www.serenaryder.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) on the iPod. What’s not to like? It wasn’t a perfect day – Charlene was working, and wasn’t with me. But it was a pretty good day, and it didn’t cost me anywhere near $10,000.
