[Guy Kawasaki writes:](http://blog.guykawasaki.com/2007/01/the%5Fstickiness%5F.html?ref=dashhouse.com)

> My prediction for *[Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1400064287/dashhouse-20?ref=dashhouse.com)* is that it will join *[The Tipping Point](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0316346624/dashhouse-20?ref=dashhouse.com)* and *[Built to Last](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0060516402/dashhouse-20?ref=dashhouse.com)* as a must-read for business people. The book explains why some ideas stick and some don’t–and I’ve been on both sides of this equation. A warning though: If you read this book, you’ll revamp a lot of your marketing material (as you probably should).

I started the book on [Audible](http://www.audible.com/adbl/site/products/ProductDetail.jsp?productID=BK%5FRAND%5F000995&BV%5FUseBVCookie=Yes&ref=dashhouse.com) last night and it’s as good as he says. The jacket copy says, “This is a book written for anyone who strives to craft messages that are memorable and lasting: teachers, businesspeople, journalists, ministers, and nonprofit leaders.” Just ordered a paper copy.
