# Paul Martin on the Emerging Church

Brian McLaren, Don Miller, Chris Seay and others are in town this weekend for [The Evolving Church](http://www.epconference.net/?ref=dashhouse.com) conference at [Tyndale](http://www.tyndale.ca/?ref=dashhouse.com). Looks like the only tickets left are for overflow. Kudos to [Nathan](http://www.nathancolquhoun.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) and the other organizers for promoting this event well; good to see a positive response.

If you’re not registered, don’t forget that you can still [catch Brian at Richview this Saturday evening](https://www.dashhouse.com/darryl/2006/03/resonate%5Fecho%5Fw.htm).

My friend [Paul Martin](http://preacherthoughts.blogspot.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) is [giving a paper on the Emerging Church](http://preacherthoughts.blogspot.com/2006/04/emergent-what.html?ref=dashhouse.com) next Monday at [Thistletown Baptist](http://local.google.ca/local?f=q&hl=en&q=thistletown+baptist+church,+etobicoke,+ON&ll=43.753985,-79.559212&spn=0.104403,0.234146&ref=dashhouse.com) at 10 a.m. If I know Paul, the paper will be critical in the best sense of the word. Paul is fair and I think he’s done some good reading to prepare, and I’m looking forward to the paper. Rumor has it that [Tim Challies](http://www.challies.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) will be in attendance, as well as Trish, who is a frequent commenter at this site.
