# My new pocket assistant

I know some of you are bored with my switch to a Mac, but I have to show you my new personal assistant. Those of you who use a [Palm](http://www.palmone.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) with a Mac – I don’t know how you do it. I tried a Palm again yesterday and it was aweful. The Palm is the opposite of what a Mac experience should be. It isn’t nearly as enjoyable to use as it should be. Give Microsoft credit: their [Pocket PCs](http://www.pocketpc.com/?ref=dashhouse.com) aren’t bad. I can [synchronize with a Mac](http://www.markspace.com/missingsync%5Fpocketpc.php?ref=dashhouse.com), but it won’t be fully functional, so why bother? There are some things that are better done with paper, especially when that paper is in a [Moleskine notebook](http://www.moleskineus.com/pocket.html?ref=dashhouse.com).
