# Blog hiccups

I’ve upgraded to [Movable Type 3.0](http://www.movabletype.org/?ref=dashhouse.com), and I’m not sure I like it. I can’t use [MT-Blacklist](http://www.jayallen.org/projects/mt-blacklist/?ref=dashhouse.com) with this version, and I’m having to deal (again) with all kinds of comment spam. That led me to use some new features, which aren’t going so well either. If you leave a comment while logged in through [TypeKey](http://www.typekey.com/?ref=dashhouse.com), the comment gets posted right away. If not, I have to approve the comment first. That gets rid of spam, but I don’t like it, nor is it working too smoothly. Meanwhile, I’m wondering whether I should give [Expression Engine](http://www.pmachine.com/expressionengine/?ref=dashhouse.com) a try. There’s always [Fusion Publisher](http://www.prairiefusion.com/blog.cfm?ref=dashhouse.com), eh [LT](http://www.theheresy.com/?ref=dashhouse.com)? **Update**: Just found out my host doesn’t meet [the requirements](http://www.pmachine.com/expressionengine/requirements.php?ref=dashhouse.com) for Expression Engine. Guess I’ll spend some time this weekend getting Movable Type working right.
