# Heated threads

I’ve been reading (and participating) in some heated threads this week. [Signposts](http://www.signposts.org.au/?ref=dashhouse.com) seems to have quite a few of them going on everything from [theology](http://www.signposts.org.au/archives/2004%5F02%5F19-gods%5Feternal%5Fyes.php?ref=dashhouse.com) to [politics](http://www.signposts.org.au/archives/2004%5F02%5F17-stop%5Fplaying%5Fpolitics%5Fmr%5Fbush.php?ref=dashhouse.com). They also had one on [women in ministry](http://www.signposts.org.au/archives/2004%5F01%5F30-coming%5Fout%5Fof%5Fthe%5Fcloset.php?ref=dashhouse.com), which is also a hot topic right now at [Tall Skinny Kiwi](http://tallskinnykiwi.typepad.com/tallskinnykiwi/2004/02/catching%5Fup%5Fon%5F.html?ref=dashhouse.com#comments). And we’re probably going to start hearing about [this article on post-evangelicals](http://www.crosswalk.com/news/weblogs/mohler/?adate=2/20/2004&ref=dashhouse.com#1247311). I don’t know what to think. I love discussions, and I’ve learned a lot through ones like these. Honestly, the only thing I don’t like is that some just seem to be waiting for a fight. **Update:** [LT](http://www.theheresy.com/default.cfm?EK=0EA898DB-7A87-43D5-A9B787489121E2AE&ref=dashhouse.com) and [Jordon](http://www.jordoncooper.com/2004%5F02%5F01%5Farchives.html?ref=dashhouse.com#107739630258601455) have posted some thoughts on the [Andrew Jones thread](http://tallskinnykiwi.typepad.com/tallskinnykiwi/2004/02/catching%5Fup%5Fon%5F.html?ref=dashhouse.com#comments), with some insights that should apply to all comment debates.
