# I keep meeting cool people

I have a lot of lunches. Lots. It seems like I’m out with somebody different every day. There are some people who are nice, but after lunch I get the impression that nothing really happened. Lately, it’s been the opposite. I had lunch with a pastor friend the other week. His journey mirrors mine in a lot of ways. Last week, I met with a [theology professor](http://www.heritage-theo.edu/Faculty/Stan%5FFowler.html?ref=dashhouse.com). Later in the week, I had lunch with [Pernell](http://www.pernellgoodyear.com/?ref=dashhouse.com), a guy I met through [Resonate](http://www.resonate.ca/?ref=dashhouse.com). Yesterday, I spent the day with an Anglican rector and his wife. All these people fed my soul. They are the real thing; they made me hope again. I’m amazed by the people I’m meeting.
