# Roomba!

Our vacuum cleaner bit the dust last night, so I took that as a sign that I should buy a [Roomba](http://www.roombavac.com/?ref=dashhouse.com). For the same price as a regular vacuum cleaner, the Roomba vacuums automatically. Charge the battery, put it down, select the size of the room, and leave. Presto! A vacuumed room. We’re just auditioning it. But to my mind, what’s not to like? Even if it isn’t 100% perfect, there’s something to be said for vacuuming more often, less well. It is strange that I have this but I don’t have a dishwasher. One problem: my friends are going to tease me mercilessly. I have yet to find a gadget that I don’t like. I’m still looking for the robotic duster. **Update**: Charlene was skeptical, but she’s starting to like the little guy. Yes, we’re already treating it as a member of the family.
