Best. Gift. Ever.
A few weeks ago we visited our friends Sandy and Lori. There sitting on their counter was a thing of beauty:
Charlene was excited about this waffle maker, and suggested that I buy one for her birthday. She later had second thoughts, but it was too late. I was determined to buy her this as an expression of my love, in the same way that Fred Flintstone was motivated to buy a bowling ball for Wilma as a gift (with his initials engraved).
On Wednesday Charlene got a message from Lori: "Happy Waffle Wednesday! I hope you are celebrating!!!! EVERY Wednesday is Waffle Wednesday!!!!" Saturday mornings are for waffles too.
This may be the best gift I have ever bought for, umm, Charlene.
