Thinking blogger award
Aaron Monts was kind enough to call me a thinking blogger. Thanks!
I know what you're thinking - there must be some mistake - but believe me, I do put some thinking into what I write here. I have proof. The smoke coming out of my ears has set off the alarm over my desk more than once. The wheels are turning even if they creek a lot and don't take me anywhere.
I get to pick five others whose blogs make me think, and they're supposed to pick up the meme and keep it going if they want. Here are five bloggers who make me think, sometimes until it hurts (and that's a good thing).

- Dan Edelen at Cerulean Sanctum
- Len at Next Reformation
- Mark D. Roberts
There are lots more (including some Canadian ones like this one and this) but these are my top five in terms of provoking some good thinking. All of them are worth a read.
Maybe I'll start a list of people who should be blogging (hello, Ken Davis, Stan Fowler, and Tim Keller.)

It's true - most of the bloggers I read are male. Wasn't always quite that skewed - Rachel Cunliffe would have made my list a few years back for sure!

Thank you so much for the nod. It means a great deal to me that people even read Cerulean Sanctum. From day one it's existed as a ministry, often to the disaffected people who feel something is just not right with the way we practice our faith in America, but find no home, no understanding of their unease.
I blog because I love the Church. I don't believe we've found that "next gear" here in the States that will kick us into overdrive, but I know it exists because the Bible tells me it does.
I appreciate your support. Your blogs are on my read list, too.
