My brothers are firefighters, which is why I was glad to send them an e-mail today with the subject line "Beat you guys!" I referred to this survey:

Here are the Top 10 most gratifying jobs and the percentage of subjects who said they were very satisfied with the job:

Clergy—87 percent percent
Firefighters—80 percent percent

And so on.

I was feeling pretty good about this until my brother sent an e-mail back: "Obviously! It’s the only other job with more time off!" Guess I set myself up for that one.
