If I look out my front door, I can see the tip of the CN Tower. I took Christina there years ago, and Charlene and I ate there once, but we've never gone as a family, at least not until yesterday.
We had fun except for the crowds. And I'm not sure I could justify the price ($140 for a family of four) if we hadn't used Air Miles to get three of the tickets. But you have to do it once I guess.
More pictures here.

I haven't been up the Tower in years [you have to use the whole title: The Canadian National Tower - if you've seen Canadian Bacon].
Janice & I went up the tower before we were married & ate in the restaurant above the clouds... we had 2 for 1 dinner ticket & I was leaving a week later for northern Ontario [Chareton Station: just South of Kirkland Lake].
You're right about doing it "once". I was shocked how much it cost when I went a couple of years ago. Having done the CN tower and the Empire State Building in NYC, I am confident that I have experienced enough of a city skyline from a birds-eye view. T.O. and NYC look strangely similar from up there!
Guess now I'll have an excuse to do it as a tourist!
Our family of six couldn't even go up the elevator a few years ago because the ride up alone would cost us $120.00. Looks like the prices are taller than the tower and still rising. Canadians are always bragging about how they do things better than Americans. We have them beat on this one too - gouging.
