2 Down & 6 To Go
We're doing fairly well here at DashHouse without the big guy. We arrived a little late for school today but things are generally moving along in normal fashion. As we drove past the church today Josiah said, "Hey, is that dad's car? Is he at the church right now?" So I say, "Well, that's dad's car, remember Lucas' dad came to pick it up the other night? So I think that Ed is at church right now." To which I then have to explain how dad got to the airport without his car, that he took an airplane to England, numerate the number of days until dad returns, assure my wonderful thinker that we have a sticker on the calendar to show when daddy comes home and tell him that we can mark off each day until he returns. 2 down, 6 to go.
i'm glad that you guys are doing well without him at the present time.....
he'll be back fairly soon....
just have a little more patience and before you know it...he will be home with all of you....how time flies...
