When it hits hard
The following is an emailed prayer request for Colin McCartney from Urban Promise.
Colin, Our executive director at URban Promise, and his wife and two children (CJ - 10; Victoria - 6) are in hawaii on their way to australia for a sabbatical as of last Tuesday (Nov. 23/04).Yesterday, Colin was boogie boarding in the ocean on a secluded island close to Maui and was taken under with the current. He has some (not sure the extent of all) spinal damage but has most recently gotten some feeling back in his feet and hands. This is a tremendous healing already. PLEASE CONTINUE TO LIFT UP COLIN to the LORD for full RESTORATION.
PRAY for the swelling to go down especially around his neck.
PRAY for Judith and the kids as they have been through this most difficult time.
Some family and friends are going to meet Jude today at some point so she won't be alone. PTL!!
PRAY for full restoration of every vertebrae in COlin's back.
This hits hard. I've got spinal cord injury terminology, knowledge and impact understanding that takes this request beyond a "shock" response to an inner, most tender place. Lots of prayer required here.
