Want to Double Your Reading Speed?

I came across this quirky tip in a Toronto Life article on Marshall McLuhan:

McLuhan would hole up in his office, consuming stacks of books (one of his speed-reading tricks was to read only the right-hand page, a reliable technique, he claimed, because most books were full of “redundancies”).

Results may vary. The article is pretty good, at least the half of it that I read.
