Re: "On Cynicism" Anger does have an exhaust pipe - it's called blogging. How is it that a person can criticize others because he believes they pretend to see into people's inner lives and then categorically state that they are prayerless and loveless and angry and judgemental and arrogant?? Cynics simply believe that they are not exceptional and that all people have as wicked hearts as they do. Cynics do not say that the world would be a better place if all the world were just like them - at least the one I know best does not. He just happens to think that the world is in the mess it is in because everyone IS just like him.
