Happy 4th of July

Your national anthem celebrates a battle against us. You even think you won that war.

You sometimes fly our flag upside down without even knowing it.

Mostly, you forget that we're here, and when you do, you call us things like America's hat.

But overall, we couldn't ask for better neighbors. Happy Independence Day, eh.

Don't forget the Yanks can be arrogant!

Thanks, neighbor. I am not a Yankee. I am a Texan living in Kuwait who has a Calvinistic blog. No arrogance here. How could I be arrogant when we all live on the planet Texas? Canada was once just a part of Texas...like the Atlantic Ocean and Europe were once a part of the Lone Star State! How times have changed...(sigh)....
