Two More Toronto Events

I mentioned three Toronto events yesterday. I should have mentioned two more in the Toronto area:

  • The Evolving Church Conference takes place on April 10 in Oakville. The conference features Brennan Manning, William Cavanuagh, David Dark, and Becky Garrison, and Joyce Rees. The theme is Kingdom Economy.
  • John Stackhouse is coming to Heritage Seminary for Ministry Leadership Day. The theme "What in God's Name are you Doing?" includes session topics entitled "Our Human Calling: Making Shalom", "Our Christian Calling: Make Disciples" and "Your Particular Calling: Why God Didn't Make You More Beautiful than You Are". I've always wanted to hear Stackhouse in person.

You will enjoy Stackhouse. He is absolutely brilliant. He is one of the few men I have heard who can have you laughing out of control and then tug on your heart in the same sentence. Although his unique sense of humour can rub people the wrong way, I think you will love it.
