Move into Rexdale

I love this video! It captures a bit of a place I love, and it asks an important question.

Don't forget there are down-sides to non-caucasian people taking over too. This has been proven in North America with gang wars and all.

One of the kids interviewed in the video is a member of our church. I baptized her a few years ago. Jim - the non-Caucasians haven't "taken over" Rexdale (whatever that means). One of the reasons there are so few white young people at the school mentioned in the video is because bigoted folk moved out of Rexdale years ago when people they did not like (non white) started moving in.

How do you know that white folk moved out of Rexdale as you claim because they were bigoted. So many were persecuted.

Jim: In what sense were they persecuted?

How about gang warefare. In my immediate neighbourhood 3 families and one widow have moved away directly because of threats two assaults and thefts from blacks.

I live in Rexdale and I love the cultural diversity. I regularly share the gospel with kids from the area. One girl had not even heard the name "Jesus" before. Most of the youth have never heard a clear presentation of the gospel and many have never even picked up a Bible.
