Sunday: Shoveling

This picture describes a good chunk of Saturday and Sunday. We have had 191 cm of snow this winter so far, just shy of the record (207 cm). I can't remember having this much snow for March Break since my early childhood, and we all know that was a long time ago.

Ahh. Now I see our age difference. Centimeters? I'm still an inches and feet guy - and figure I had the pleasure of digging out two feet of snow this past Saturday from the parking area and laneway. More exercise than I've had in a while.

I'm actually one of the lucky ones who had metric introduced halfway through grade school, so I'm bilingual. Centimeters sounds more impressive in describing snow heights though, doesn't it? And I feel better telling people my weight in kilograms. ;)

I'd prefer to consider my weight in stones. That way I'd never really know what I actually weigh.
