How much do you have to hate somebody not to proselytize?

Penn of Penn and Teller is an atheist. His response to being evangelized after a show may surprise you.

"I don't respect people who don't proselytize. If you believe that there's a heaven and hell, and people could be going to hell, and you think, 'Well, it's not really worth telling them this because it would make it socially awkward'...How much do you have to hate somebody not to proselytize?"

This should become viral in the "missional conversation" at least - where St Frank's "preach the Gospel @ all times, if necessary use words" has been a 'get out of jail free card'for those of us who don't want to proselytize "because it would be socially awkward."

Just as important as the highlighted quote above, Penn seemed moved more by having an encounter with a really good man who treated him with dignity and respect. We need to remember that part of the apologetic.

That would make it a both/and, rather than an either/or. I've commented at my small corner of the blogoverse. As has Ed Stetzer at his.

If you Google "burn youtube to dvd" quite a bit shows up. I've never tried this myself, so I'm not sure how useful the advice will be.

Copy the Youtube link, then paste it in at www.file2hd.com. Select "movies" and then "submit". Choose the format you want to download.
