Nice rush!

Every hockey dad has to brag sometimes.

The funnest part of my somewhat wonky week was seeing my son in his first end-to-end rush today, capped by one of the nicest goals I've ever seen.

Almost makes those 7 a.m. weekend practices worth it!

Hey Darryl. That's awesome! How old is he and for what team does he play for?

Hi Jacob, He's seven, almost eight. He started late so he's in the Tykes level for a local league. His team is called the Leafs, except he makes it clear that he plays for the good Leafs. ;) It's a fun level because you see all the kids develop a lot over the season.
