Save a Bureaucrat

A novel way to get out of your job:

Hi. You don't know me, but there is one thing you should know about me - I'm desperate. Desperate to escape my 9 to 5 job I've been at for over 10 years now. It's not that I don't appreciate the steady hours and the decent pay, but it's just that after a while it starts to sap the energy and soul out of you and you realize that you have become a true bureaucrat.

The goal is to raise enough money to be able to make a change. How much does this person want?

My ultimate wish would be to earn enough to retire and help some people out, but I realize that this would require several million dollars. At the very least, I hope to earn a few thousand dollars from visitors and some extra help for covering my expenses through advertisements on the site. Perhaps I will earn enough to reduce my hours at work.

The person will reveal his or her identity for a million. So far donations are $59.26.

Been there... doing that. Unfortunately, you often trade one type of desperation for another.

Well at least he hasn't started taking bribes or robbing banks.
