My problem with podcasting

I can skim about a hundred blogs in the time it takes me to listen to one podcast. I may give you a couple of minutes at the beginning but you had better grab me fast to make me want to listen to you. Listening to a podcast involves a much larger commitment than quickly skimming a webpage. It's a great second step (I'd listen to any podcast by bloggers I already like) but I still like reading blogs better.
