Snow on March 24

I drone on to my kids like all dads do. I've told them that when I was a kid, we sometimes had snow up to our waists during March break. They look at me like all kids look at their dads when they talk about the good old days. Whatever. March break is late this year, and it's FREEZING outside. We got more snow yesterday and we still have snowbanks on our front lawn. This is good. It will give me something to talk about with my grandkids one day. Poor kids.

My kids are going to hate me. When I lived in Finland, I walked to school (a few miles away) every day, even when it was -20c and snowing. Since I lived on a hill and the school was on another hill, I even got to walk uphill both ways. :P

Isn't that considered cruel and unusual punishment, Darryl?
