U2 on Conan tonight

I know George won't care, but I'll be taping tonight's show. It's way too late for me to stay up.

Though Bono wears sun glasses even in the day time, which to me seems shady.

Trish: Aren't you supposed to wear sunglasses in the daytime? ;)

Darryl, if its really impacting for the cause of Christ let me know and I'll borrow the tape from you. I've got some tapes I wanted to share with you so we could do an exchange.

Well....? Did he lift high the name of Christ?

George: Did he talk explicitly about Jesus? No. Did he lift high the name of Christ? I suppose he did. I like what Bach said: "Music's only purpose should be the glory of God and the recreation of the human spirit." Bono accomplished this, and spoke about an issue that's close to God's heart - so not a bad night in all, I thought.

Its too bad he doesn't talk about Jesus though eh? Just think about the impact he could make for the cause of Christ. Lots of people are saying the same things he is about Africa etc, what's so different about him? How is he different than Stephen Lewis for example. Now if he were to do all the talking in the name of Christ that would be a different thing. But then he wouldn't be the icon that he is eh? The world wouldn't recognize him the same way. I guess its all about what is your top priority in life. Is it Jesus Christ? Well if it is and you are Bono why not proclaim Him to a lost and dying world?

Anyone that can get the former senator Jesse Helms to repent for his attitude toward AIDS is doing okay in my book. (see http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,,1507503,00.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,,1507503,00.html for the story)
