I guess you have to have some kind of control of those situations. Its interesting to look at blog rolls to see who people are linked to. I think it speaks to the bloggers own stand on issues when you see who they are linked to. The blogger might not express it the same way as people to whom he is linked but maybe when they read the other persons opinion they say to themselves, "yea I agree with that but I could never admit that considering the church environment that I am in". Maybe they have to follow denominational philosophy that they don't necessarily agree with but that they are stuck with and so they can't really express themselves the way they would like. I would think a church has to have some control of what they will be linked to, that would only be prudent wouldn't it? I notice that your own blog roll changes from time to time and I can only assume that is because you might read some stuff from certain people and realize you can't be linked to them. It also makes me curious to see who you are linked to in this book thing you guys are planning on doing. I'm looking forward to seeing how that goes and hope I can contribute in some way to the discussion. But that's me I just get curious about these things and wonder how it happens.

I don't have a problem with their decision; I think it makes sense. I just found the language to be a little bureaucratic.

Richview was linked to my blog for a long time...it's a surprise the church has survived...me, but especially my blog :)
