I just canceled going to Catalyst this year. I've been away too much this year. I think I just need to stay home for a bit. I'll miss it though. I'd love to be there. I'd especially love to be backstage when Chuck Colson and Brian McLaren meet. Some of you know that Chuck and Brian were involved in a pretty lively debate last winter (Chuck's response to Brian is also posted). Watching them break bread would be better than any main session. As much as I think big conferences like this are limited, I've always benefited from one or two messages at Catalyst. I'll miss being there.

Don, I was absolutely crushed last year when I didn't win the Segway transporter.
Say what you like, Darryl. You finally realized that it just wouldn't be as fun without me...
