Finding God at the bottom

From a comment left below:
I'm seeing God do something very fantastic. I call it, 'sneaking the gospel back into the church'. He's doing it through the broken and wounded in our world - many of whom find their recovery taking place in the context of the fellowship of the spirit. These are non-religious gatherings of broken men and women who come together on a regular basis around a common area of woundedness and share their experience, strength, and hope with one another. And God is in their midst.
Keith's comment is worth reading in its entirety. I resonate with what he's said - God is often found in the darkness. On this issue (sexuality) and many others, we will never find God at the bottom because we're too scared to go there.

I really appreciate all Keith had to say. Thanks for pointing his comment out. I can relate in many ways.
