Comic relief

Read this tonight:
Michael Jackson's album was only called "Bad" because there wasn't enough room on the sleeve for the word "pathetic." (rock star Prince)
I read this bit of etiquette advice on the plane last week:
In his book, Good Manners, Nigel Rees tells a story (genre apocryphal) that demonstrates what can come of being too conscientious in acknowledging flatulence. Evidently, back in the 1970s, Queen Elizabeth and the President of Nigeria were driving down The Mall in her carriage when one of Her Majesty's horses "let rip"...The queen said, "I do apologize" to the president, and he replied, "Oh, I thought it was one of the horses.
Okay, I needed a laugh.
